Signage for retail and hospitality groups.

Store rollouts and remodels, restaurant chains, hotel wayfinding, ADA compliance, FRP wall panels rated for kitchen and health-code environments, and seasonal POP. We coordinate it across portfolios that run from dozens to hundreds of locations.

Industry buyer

VPs of facilities, real estate, and operations at multi-location chains.

For retail and hospitality, the buyer is usually a VP of facilities, regional real estate, or operations at a multi-location chain. The brief is operational first: sites that match each other, on a schedule that actually holds, without the budget drifting. The brand conversation waits until procurement is satisfied.

Retail chains and hospitality groups share this page because the work runs the same way underneath. Multi-site rollouts, remodels, seasonal POP, ADA conformance, and after-hours installs that wrap before the doors open.

Common scope

What a retail or hospitality program typically includes.

  • Multi-site rollouts. Rebrand programs, regional expansions, and franchise-standard updates across dozens or hundreds of locations. National rollouts does the heavy lifting here.
  • Store remodels.Signage, fixtures, and graphics dropped into the GC's remodel window. This is the most schedule-sensitive scope we run, hands down. See store remodels.
  • Seasonal POP refreshes. Quarterly campaign swaps on storefront windows, in-store brand walls, and end-cap displays.
  • Hotel wayfinding. Lobby directionals, conference-space identification, ADA-compliant room numbering, and in-corridor wayfinding, run as one portfolio-wide system.
  • Restaurant chains. Drive-thru menu boards, digital LED message centers, exterior brand signage, FRP wall panels rated for kitchen and health-code environments, plus after-hours installs that finish before breakfast service.
Compliance considerations

Health code, ADA, and FRP wall panel ratings.

  • Health-code-rated materials. FRP wall panels for restaurant kitchens and food-prep areas that meet FDA, USDA, and local health-code requirements. Easy-clean substrates spec’d to match.
  • ADA conformance. Required on public-accommodation signage in restaurants, retail, and hospitality lobbies. Tactile signage, Braille, and proper mounting per ADA §703.
  • Sign permit cycles. Retail and hospitality rollouts touch every U.S. market, including the cities that fight you on permits. We route them through permits & compliance and put them on the table at quote, not on deployment day.
  • Landlord approval. Property-management sign-off, retail-center architectural-review board approval, and franchise-territory rules. We work these in parallel with the municipal permits.
Hotel and restaurant specifics

Two sub-sectors that diverge at the spec sheet.

Hotel wayfinding lives between back-of-house code (egress, ADA, life-safety) and front-of-house brand expression. The signs have to read as part of the hotel’s design language and still pass state and local code. We bring the code-stamp engineering and the design-finish-tier fabrication to the same install, so the brand isn’t stuck bridging two vendors.

Restaurant chains carry their own scope. Health-code-rated FRP, drive-thru menu boards with electrical and weatherproofing, and install windows that have to close out before the opening shift clocks in. We keep a separate restaurant playbook for each concept. Quick-service, casual dining, and premium full-service each get their own, because the install constraints shift at every tier.

Typical timeline

Pilot, then 8-15 sites per week at peak.

A multi-site retail or hospitality program usually opens with a flagship pilot to lock the spec, then ramps to 8–15 sites a week in markets that have the capacity. A 40-property hotel rebrand tends to run 4–6 months end-to-end. A 200-site retail rollout lands closer to 10–14 weeks. Schedule constraints get flagged at quote, never sprung on you on install day.
