When to spec what

Cast for shape, calendered for flat.

  • IJ180Cv3 is our default for wraps that cross rivets, recesses, and compound curves. The 130% stretch and Comply v3 air-egress adhesive bury bubbles and forgive small alignment shifts while the crew works.
  • IJ39 goes on when the substrate is flat. Speccing IJ180Cv3 on a flat box-truck panel is over-engineering, and you pay for it. IJ39 reads the same from the street at a fraction of the cost, and its warranty matches what a flat panel actually needs.
  • IJ680CR covers any regulatory or safety scope where the graphic has to read at night under headlights. Think police, fire, ambulance, school transport, and construction signage.
  • DI-NOCis for the brand that wants the look of stone, wood, or brushed metal without rebuilding the wall to get it. It's an architectural finish film, applied right over a substrate the brand already owns.
Specification notes

The laminate is not optional.

The most common mistake on a 3M install is dropping the matched overlaminate to shave 15-25% off the film cost. Skip it and the manufacturer warranty no longer applies. The print also ages 50-70% faster under UV, and any chemical contact (cleaning agents, fuel splash on fleet, graffiti remover) leaves a permanent mark. That's why the laminate is its own line item on every Signavero quote, and we don't cut it.

Color range

Cut-vinyl color comes off the chart, not out of a printer.

Printed graphics can hit any brand color. Opaque cut vinyl is picked from the manufacturer's color chart — and the 3M® chart runs deep enough that most brand standards land on an off-the-shelf match before anyone pays for a custom run. The range below is illustrative of the families on a typical chart; we match against the current 3M® chart at spec time and send physical samples on request.
