Dimensional letters & cut shapes (CNC)
Premium 3D letters, logos, and custom shapes CNC-routed from solid material. The high-end fabricated sign.
“CNC for thick and rigid; laser for thin and fine.”
What it is
Letters, logos, and contour shapes cut on a CNC router from solid stock: acrylic, PVC, Dibond, wood, aluminum, or foam. It's a professional subtractive fabrication process, not DIY.
Choose it when
You want premium 3D letters or a custom-shaped sign. Reach for CNC on thick, rigid material (acrylic over ~12 mm, metal, wood), and a laser for thin, intricate cuts.
Strengths
- Premium, dimensional look
- Cuts thick/rigid stock cleanly
- Any custom shape from a vector
Watch-outs
- – Professional fabrication, not DIY
- – Higher cost and lead time than a flat printed sign
Not the right call for: Budget flat signage · Very fine filigree detail (laser is better for thin, intricate cuts)
