Overlaminate films
A clear protective film over a print. It sets the finish (gloss/matte/lustre) and adds UV, scuff, and anti-graffiti protection.
“Anything touched, weathered, or washed gets laminated.”
What it is
A clear film applied over a printed graphic to protect it and control its finish. Available in gloss, matte, lustre, and anti-glare, plus specialty anti-graffiti versions.
Choose it when
Any print that will be touched, weathered, washed, or exposed to UV should be laminated. It's an add-on to a printed product, not a standalone sign.
Strengths
- Extends print life
- Controls the finish look
- Anti-graffiti and anti-glare options
Watch-outs
- – Adds cost and a production step
Not the right call for: Throwaway indoor prints that will never be touched
