Pole / street banner

Double-sided banners that mount to light poles on fiberglass spring brackets. The standard kit for civic, campus, and downtown branding programs.

What it is

A pair of vertical banners with sewn pole pockets at top and bottom that slide onto bracket arms clamped to a light or utility pole. The print runs double-sided on opaque 18oz blockout vinyl (or polyester fabric) so each face reads clean, and spring-loaded fiberglass arms flex to spill wind off the banner.

Choose it when

Choose this over a plain grommeted vinyl banner when the message lives on light poles and reads from both sides of the street. The pole pocket plus fiberglass spring bracket is what makes it survive wind and look finished; a flat banner zip-tied to a pole does neither.

Strengths

  • Double-sided 18oz blockout reads clean from both directions of traffic
  • Fiberglass spring brackets flex with gusts and spill most of the wind load
  • High-volume product: one artwork template prints across a whole pole run
  • Pole pockets give a taut, hardware-free finished edge

Watch-outs

  • Needs professional install on a ladder or bucket truck, not a DIY hang
  • Bracket hardware and pole-by-pole labor add real cost beyond the print
  • Fabric versions fade and last less time than 18oz vinyl outdoors
  • Exposed spans still flutter; oversized banners need wind slits or a heavier bracket

Not the right call for: DIY or one-off banner hangs (use a grommeted vinyl banner) · Indoor display where a flat, hardware-free face matters · Single-sided messages seen from one side only (you're paying for double-sided) · Very high-wind exposure without an engineered spring bracket
