Dye-sublimation fabric graphics
Eco-friendly optionSoft polyester graphics with the ink embedded in the fibers. Packable, wrinkle-resistant, and reusable.
“Permanent indoors, a season outdoors.”
Good to know
- Indoors it's basically permanent and reusable. Outdoors, on flags, the sun fades it in months. Plan it for a season, not for years.
- It packs flat and goes back up show after show. The real question isn't 'how long outdoors,' it's 'how many times will you reuse it.'
What it is
Graphics printed on polyester fabric by dye-sublimation, where heat bonds the ink into the fibers. The result is soft, stretchy, and durable, and the ink can't be washed, scratched, or worn off. Used for exhibits, flags, table throws, and banners.
Choose it when
You need a portable, reusable, soft graphic for events and exhibits, something that packs flat and sets up without tools.
Strengths
- Packs down small and ships light
- Wrinkle-resistant and washable
- Ink is embedded, so it won't scratch or peel
- Backlit fabric variants available
Watch-outs
- – Polyester only (dye-sub won't bond to cotton)
- – Fades in long-term sun (flags last ~6–12 mo outdoors)

Questions people ask
Can I wash it?
Yes. The ink is embedded in the fibers, so it won't wash or scratch off, and the fabric stays soft.
Will an outdoor flag last?
Months, not years. Sun fades it. Indoors it's effectively permanent and reusable.
Why polyester only?
Dye-sublimation bonds only to polyester fibers; it won't take on cotton.
