SEG (silicone edge graphics) fabric display
Eco-friendly optionTensioned fabric in an aluminum frame with no visible seam. The modern, premium exhibit-wall look.
“The frame is the asset. Re-skin it each campaign.”
Good to know
- The frame is the asset, not the graphic. Pay for a good frame once, then re-skin it cheaply each campaign.
What it is
A dye-sub fabric graphic finished with a silicone strip sewn into the edge. The strip tucks into a groove on an aluminum frame and pulls the fabric tight 'like a drum skin,' so the display reads frameless. Frontlit, backlit, and blockout options.
Choose it when
You want a large, frameless-looking, reusable exhibit wall (especially backlit) and can plan ahead for the frame.
Strengths
- Clean 'edge-to-edge' look with no visible frame
- Reusable frame; swap the fabric to re-brand
- Backlit-capable
- Lightweight, tool-light assembly
Watch-outs
- – Frame fabrication adds lead time
- – Needs a consistent-stretch fabric to fit tight tolerances
- – Indoor
Not the right call for: Outdoor use · True rush jobs (the frame takes time)
